Zimbabwean talent & businesses to lure potential investment at the upcoming DUBAI EXPO 2020.
Zimbabwe will take part in the Expo Dubai 2020 which was rescheduled to the 1st of October to the 31st of March next year.
The promotional activities that will be showcased include Retail Store, The World Market Kiosk, Culinary Experiences, Fashion, Arts and Culture, Thematic Business Forums, and Women’s Pavilion.
Participants such as the Africa Grain and Seeds organisation are expected to join the tourism operators from Zimbabwe who have confirmed participation at the Expo. The country is expected to unpack Vision 2030 and market its investment opportunities.
Minister of Information and Publicity, Monica Mutsvangwa mentioned that The objectives of Zimbabwe’s participation at Expo 2020 are to promote Zimbabwe’s engagement, re-engagement and image building agenda and unpack the country’s Vision 2030, to promote investment opportunities in Zimbabwe and attract investors in various sectors.
She also mentioned that local talent such as Jah Prayzah will also be part of the multi-billion dollar Dubai Expo. “The venue for the Zimbabwe Investment Centre has been booked, and Jah Prayzah will perform at the National Day Celebrations,” she said.

Expo 2020 Dubai is a multi-billion-dollar innovation fair that was scheduled to run last year in the United Arab Emirates and was postponed due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
