Small Businesses in Bulawayo prepare to showcase at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair this month.
The country’s largest global exhibition returns this year after being suspended in 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Small to Medium Enterprises are getting ready to showcase their products and services to the business visitors.
According to the ZITF updates on social media “A business delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will be in Bulawayo next week to engage with local industry and commerce players and assess opportunities for trade and investment.”
This year’s exhibition which is running under the theme “Showcasing the New Normal for Business and Industry: Realities and Opportunities, ” is expected to open up business partnerships between the DRC as well as providing a platform to solve the obstructions facing the countries economically.
Youth with small businesses will be showcasing Zimbabwe’s trade and business potential to both local and foreign investors, thereby helping to attract foreign direct investment.
The trade fair which was initially rescheduled because of Covid-19 will be held In accordance with national and World Health Organization safety protocols.
