GOVERNMENT COMMISSIONS NEW BUSSES

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has commissioned 30 vehicles and 13 buses for the public services sector.

The new fleet brings to 108,the buses commissioned for the civil service by the second republic led by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The government has repeatedly emphasised its commitment to a reliable and affordable transport system for both the civil service and members of the public.

The chairperson of the public service commission Dr Vincent Hungwe said the move demonstrates government’s desire to ease challenges facing the civil service.

Speaking at the commissioning, Public service labour and social welfare minister Paul Mavhima said there is measurable progress by government in availing non monetary incentives for its workforce.
