VACCINE ROLL OUT FOR THE 16-17 AGE GROUP COMMENCES
By Staff Reporter
The Ministry of Health and Child Care in collaboration with the City of Harare rolled out the COVID-19 vaccination programme for the 16 to 17 age group in the capital today.
Junior councillors are also playing their part to rally the 16 to 17 year age-group to embrace the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination programme which has been extended to the demographic group.
Junior councillors received their jabs during the launch of the programme, which will see all council clinics in Harare providing the service during the school holidays.
The junior councillors are in turn expected to encourage their constituency of young people to get vaccinated before schools reopen.
