PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA LEADS KWEKWE CLEAN UP CAMPAIGN
By Staff Reporter
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged people to practice cleanliness in their homes, as it demonstrates love for themselves and their country.
The President said this after joining Kwekwe residents in a clean up campaign at a bus and taxi rank in Midlands.
President Mnangagwa said a litter free Zimbabwe has a lot of benefit not only to the economy but to individual improvement of citizens.
The clean-up campaign was launched by the President in 2018 and he declared every first Friday of each month a national clean up day.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic halted several campaigns in 2020 and last year.
