Owen Ncube has been removed from his position as the Minister of state security in the Zimbabwe government,with immediate effect.
In a statement, the chief secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda said Honourable Ncube was removed for conduct inappropriate for a minister of government.
He was removed in line with section 104 sub section 1 of the constitution of Zimbabwe.
In his Inauguration speech in 2018,President Emmerson Mnangagwa emphasized that his government was prioritizing national development and any official who did not perform,or presented themselves contrary to the vision of the second republic would not be tolerated.
