By Staff Reporter
As the efforts of the Second Republic under President Emmerson Mnangagwa continue to bear fruit, the World Bank has forecasted the country’s economy to grow by 4,3 percent owing to measures being instituted on a macro economic level.
In the Bretton Woods institution’s global economic prospects report released this year, the bank noted that efforts to stabilise the economy, reduce money supply, instill fiscal discipline and add value to economic growth had positively impacted the economy.
The global financier revealed that the economy registered a 5,1 percent growth last year.
Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube has introduced several economic reforms, such as the transitional stabilisation process and the national development strategy, which are bearing fruit.
