Murambinda growth point was known for perennial water challenges with some even going for years without proper access to water for irrigation or household consumption.
Water challenges are however a thing of the past at the growth point following the completion of Marovanyati Dam, which has made life easier for the residents who said they had to travel kilometers before the government’s intervention.
The Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Resettlement Dr Anxious Masuka said the project is part of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s thrust on rural development.
